Easel Birthday Wishes Card

Cut and scored easel card using miri board, mat and layered lilac card rounding off corners using a 2p coin as i don't have a corner punch, decoupaged design using design that was free from Making Cards magazine attaching pieces with silicone glue and layered it onto miri board, added glitter and clear stickle for bling effect. Printed sentiment using my craft studio graphics programme and mat and layered again, attached to easel using foam pads to form the stopper. Made chiffon bow and lilac flower embelishment attached using pva glue.

I got into crafting through ill health and was terribly bored, i needed something to occupy my mind, so i went out one day and was browsing through magazines, i picked up a copy of a card making mag, this caught my attention. I bought the magazine and couldn't wait to get home to read through it properly, it came with a free cardmaking kit. Flicking through it i felt quite excited. I rushed home and made myself a cup of coffee, sat down and started to read, as i was reading i thought yes i can do this, well that was it. whilst reading i came across an article "The Certificate In Papercraft Course"and got quite excited about it, me trying to be clever with no experience thought "oh yes this is right up my street", I signed up to do the course and was very eager to get started. Sadly due to health issues i did not complete the course, i continued to make an odd card here and there to keep my hand in it so to speak. I'm on the road to recovery now and i'm hoping to take the course again sometime soon.
